CURRENT ORGANIZATIONS

Planning Commission  (2025) (member)

The Planning Commission serves as the architectural heart of Prattville’s future. This body is responsible for the strategic oversight of land use, zoning requests, and the city’s Comprehensive Master Plan. By reviewing and recommending action on new developments, subdivisions, and commercial projects, the Commission ensures that Prattville grows in a way that is sustainable, organized, and beneficial to all residents.

Sanitation Committee  (2025) (Chair)

Leads the efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and beautiful Prattville. The Sanitation Committee provides vital oversight for the city’s waste collection and disposal systems, ensuring that services, from residential garbage and yard trash pickup to recycling initiatives, are delivered effectively and efficiently.


Public Safety (Fire & Police), Judicial, Information Technology Committee (2025) (member)

This committee provides essential oversight for the departments that protect Prattville’s citizens, uphold the rule of law, and maintain the city's digital infrastructure.


Maintenance - Vehicles, Facilities, & Lots Committee  (2025) (member)

The Maintenance Committee provides oversight for the upkeep and repair of city-owned property, ensuring that our municipal fleet, public buildings, and city-managed lots are maintained to the highest standards of safety and functionality.



E911 Autauga County Emergency Communication District Board   (2023) (member)

The E911 Board is responsible for acting as the governing body for all its affairs.



Military Affairs Committee   - Prattville Chamber of Commerce (2024) (member)

The Military Affairs Committee of the Prattville Chamber of Commerce serves to highlight and promote the Prattville/Autauga area as a friendly community that is open to our military, their spouses and children and fosters relationships that showcase our quality of life a s a place to live, learn, work, play, worship, do business and call home.

The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Prattville Chamber of Commerce serves to connect businesses and our community to the legislative process and engage and inform them on impactful policies and decisions at the local, state, and federal level.

PAST VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATIONS

Industrial Development Board   (IDB) (2022-2025) (member)

The purpose of the Industrial Development Board (IDB) is to stimulate, promote, and assist in the location and development of new industries and business enterprises within or near the City of Prattville Alabama. Furthermore, the board shall make these opportunities available to existing industries, thereby promoting their continued growth and success.

Metropolitan Planning Organization   (MPO)   Citizens Advisory Committee   (CAC) (2023 - 2025) (member)

The MPO is responsible for having a continuous, cooperative, and comprehensive transportation planning process that results in plans, programs and projects that consider all transportation modes and support metropolitan community and economic development and social goals. The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides advisory input from a citizen’s perspective on plans, programs, and projects in the MPO study area.

Advisory Board of the Alabama Department of Youth Services DYS Autauga County Campus Advisory Board (2023) (member)

The DYS Advisory Board mission is to serve as a liaison between the residents of Autauga County and the DYS and to assist in the development of the youth served by the campus. The board is comprised of citizens selected for their interest in the quality of youth services provided by the Department and help in alleviating any associated individual and community problems.



McKinney Citizens on Patrol (COP) (2016-2020) (member)

The McKinney Texas Citizens on Patrol (COP) is a citizens’ support unit for the McKinney Police Department (MPD). This specialized, trained unit is used for non-emergency calls and helps prevent and deter criminal activity through high visibility patrols and community events.


Stonebridge Ranch, Modifications Committee (2017-2019) (member)

The Modifications Committee advises and assists the Stonebridge Ranch Board of Directors with respect to approvals, denials or variances made on behalf of the membership for all 7000 + homes involving homeowner exterior improvements.


McClure Dads (2015-2019) (member)

McClure Dads Club is a non-profit organization designed to allow fathers of McClure Elementary students an opportunity to give a little back to the school which invests so much time into our child’s development. We put on several events throughout the school year including Donuts with Dad, Teacher Tailgate Cookout, and the Student/Faculty End of Year Cookout.
